We’ve been using an ultrasonic cleaner after eye polishes for the last five years and believe that it’s the best way to clean an eye prosthesis.
The SonicBrite artificial eye cleaning system was created to remove calcium deposits and protein deposits from plastic artificial eyes and scleral shells.
The system works like this:
- place 3/4 of a cup of warm water and half a teaspoon of cleaning solution in the cleaning unit.
- place your eye prosthesis in the solution and switch on.
- the timer will switch the unit off after 15 minutes, rinse your eye prosthesis and it is ready for use.
